Prayer is central to the Christian's relationship with the living God. We want to help each other grow in our personal prayer lives – and gather to pray for our church, town, nation and world.

Prayer Focus

Join us on the first Wednesday of each month to pray. 7:30pm at St Martin's, with options for free prayer and liturgical prayer.

Note that the September meeting is on 9th Sept at the Parish Church, as part of the Global Week of Prayer (see below).

24-7 Global Week of Prayer 6th to 13th September 2026

On Sunday 6th September, to begin the Global Week of Prayer, all our congregations will come together for a special time of praise, prayer and seeking the Lord's face together.
After the service, we will continue our time together by sharing our picnic lunches outside on the grass, weather permitting.
Then, as a visible expression of our unity and our dependence upon God, we will pray around the Parish Church. If numbers allow, we hope quite literally to join hands around the church building as we pray for its life, witness and future.

Please do sign up for an hourly slot to pray during the week of prayer. Sign up lists are available in both worship venues.

Prayer for Revival and Renewal

Meet in the Parish Church prayer chapel to pray for revival, renewal and for God's Kingdom to come.
Tuesdays 10:30 to 11:30am
On the first Tuesday of each month this meeting is held at St Martin's Church lounge.

Saturday Prayer

Each Saturday in the Parish Church prayer chapel at 10:00am. Prayer for the church, our vicar and staff.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday.
We are an Anglican church in the Diocese of Norwich. and our focus is 'Loving Jesus and Sharing His Love'. Our tradition is evangelical and each of our Sunday services has a different feel.

Where and When

We have two church buildings: Cromer Parish Church (dedicated to St Peter and St Paul) in the town centre (see map here), and St Martin's, Mill Road in the Suffield Park area of town.
We welcome everyone to worship Jesus with us at our Sunday services.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a lanyard.

Our services at the Parish Church are:

8:45am	A traditional service of Holy Communion.
10:30am	An informal service, including Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. CCKids (Cromer Church Kids) meet during this service.
6:30pm	The Gathering, an informal service with inspiring worship and vibrant teaching - arrive early for refreshments before we start.

At St Martin's our Sunday services are at 10:30am.

Refreshments are served at the end of all our morning services, an ideal opportunity to meet people.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on arrival if you need help. There are toilets at the rear of the church, near the refreshments servery.

What about my children?

We run CCKids (Cromer Church Kids) for ages 0-11 in the church lounge (at the rear of church) during the 10:30am service at the Parish Church. When you arrive, look out for the leaders in orange CCKids polo shirts, to register your children.
All children stay with their families at the start of the service. The service leader will announce when it’s time for the younger members to go to CCKids.

During school holidays CCKids takes a break and the 10:30am service will be suitable for all ages.

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
