Mission Partners

Our Mission Partners

Support for our mission partners involves prayerful, financial and practical engagement with their work and is an important part of our mission effort. Prayer points for them may be found in our current prayer diary (download here).

Our current mission partners are listed below.

Selection of two new Mission Partners 2025-2027

Four organisations were nominated to be our new Mission Partners 2025-2027, and it is now time for the church family to vote to select which two should be added to the list of existing Mission Partners.

The four nominations are: Canaan Christian Trust (nominated by Evelyn Smith); Scripture Union (nominated by Alison Orsborne); Tearfund (nominated by Lynda Brown and Judith Anderson); and Tek Ura (nominated by Tony Peacock).

The completed nomination forms giving brief information about the organisations and what it would mean to have them as a Mission Partner will be displayed at the Parish Church and St Martin’s until 16th February. They’re also available to download below (together with the voting paper). Please read them carefully and, if you have any questions or need further details, please contact those who made the nominations. Please also pray about which of the nominated organisations should be selected.

Members of the Cromer Church family vote to make the selection. Each person can vote once and can vote for up to two of the organisations. Please play your part by reading the nominations, asking questions, getting involved and, above all, by voting.

Voting papers and ballot boxes will be available at St Martin’s and the Parish Church during services on Sunday 9th and Sunday 16th February. Please follow the instructions on the voting paper and place it in the ballot box.
You can also vote by sending an email with your votes to the PCC Secretary
Voting ends at 9.00 p.m. on Sunday 16th February.
The votes will be counted on 17th February and, all being well, the organisations selected will be announced in the weekly update on Thursday 20th February.

Our current Mission Partners – to which the new organisations will be added – are:

  • Michelle Proctor (serving with SIM in Zambia);
  • Bible Society;
  • Good News for Everyone (formerly Gideons);
  • Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS) (our Patron);
  • London City Mission;
  • Christians Against Poverty (CAP);
  • Hope into Action.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday.
We are an Anglican church in the Diocese of Norwich. and our focus is 'Loving Jesus and Sharing His Love'. Our tradition is evangelical and each of our Sunday services has a different feel.

Where and When

We have two church buildings: Cromer Parish Church (dedicated to St Peter and St Paul) in the town centre (see map here), and St Martin's, Mill Road in the Suffield Park area of town.
We welcome everyone to worship Jesus with us at our Sunday services.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a lanyard.

Our services at the Parish Church are:

8:45am A traditional service of Holy Communion.
10:30am An informal service, including Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
CCKids (Cromer Church Kids) meet during this service.
6:30pm The Gathering, an informal service with inspiring worship and vibrant teaching - arrive early for refreshments before we start.

At St Martin's our Sunday services are at 10:30am.

Refreshments are served at the end of all our morning services, an ideal opportunity to meet people.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on arrival if you need help. There are toilets at the rear of the church, near the refreshments servery.

What about my children?

We run CCKids (Cromer Church Kids) for ages 0-11 in the church lounge (at the rear of church) during the 10:30am service at the Parish Church. When you arrive, look out for the leaders in orange CCKids polo shirts, to register your children.
All children stay with their families at the start of the service. The service leader will announce when it’s time for the younger members to go to CCKids.

During school holidays CCKids takes a break and the 10:30am service will be suitable for all ages.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
