The Parish Church is open daily* from about 9 a.m. until dusk (about 3.30 - 4.00 p.m.) in the winter and about 5.00 p.m. or later in the summer.

We welcome visitors and those wanting a quiet space to think or pray. There is a service on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. and Sunday services are at 9.00 a.m., 10.45 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. Access for visitors is limited during those times, although everyone is welcome at our services. Details of services can be found here.

Ramps allow access to all parts of St Martin's and the Parish Church except the tower. (Tower details are here.) Our sound system has an induction loop for hearing aid users and we have some large print books.  We have wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities and there is plenty of space for wheelchairs and other mobility aids. The Parish Church has pews (St Martin's has comfy chairs!) but we have chairs available for those that need them.

The Parish Church and St Martin's both have a lounge/crèche area with toys; and baby changing facilities. The Parish Church has a space at the front specially for children and others to enjoy taking an active part in the service with flags and streamers.

Paul Brittain (Prevolution Digital), has created a stunning Google Virtual Tour of the Parish Church. It's interactive, like streetview for buildings, and you can find it here.

*The church is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (except for services) and might also need to be closed in extreme weather conditions; when large parties are visiting; when weddings or funerals are taking place; and for other reasons at our discretion. Please contact us in advance to check before making a special journey to visit us.
